ITV gets Chester woman's help in wedding series

ITV is on the lookout for special brides and grooms and has enlisted the help of a Cheshire wedding planner.

Leanne Bowles, who runs wedding fair company Flaunt Events, was asked by ITV to help find couples with a story to tell to feature on their upcoming Four Weddings programme.

The entrepreneur was approached by the television company after it spotted her website detailing her wedding knowledge.

Four Weddings will feature four loved-up couples as they approach the big day, who will compete to win prizes for their wedding ceremony, the Chester Chronicle reports.

The couples will be tying the knot in their own special ways in autumn 2009.

Ms Bowles told the newspaper: "It came really out of the blue. They are looking for couples planning a wedding that’s a bit different or who have a special story.

"It may be a civil ceremony or an all-singing all-dancing big wedding. They don't need to have a large budget."
