Dream wedding thanks to TV show
A Royal Air Force nurse in Peterborough can now have her dream wedding thanks to a win on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?.
Jill Winsor from Ringstead scooped £20,000 on a nurses' special of the show hosted by Chris Tarrant.
Ms Winsor and her friend Hayley Pauls were a team on the show after working together in Basra during the Iraq war.
They scooped £20,000 on the show after an admirable performance and Ms Winsor is now planning to have a fantastic wedding when she ties the knot with fiance Paul Cleamas next year.
The couple will be heading to the Caribbean for their honeymoon and getting married at St James' Church in Thrapston, the village where the bride grew up, the Northants Evening Telegraph reports.
They will then move on to their swanky reception at the Kettering Park Hotel when the event takes place in February.
She told the paper: "It will be nice to have some extra money, especially with the way the economy is at the moment. We'll be going on an all-inclusive holiday to the Caribbean now, thanks to the show."
